Dens are crucial for the survival of urban coyotes and foxes, but can be hard to locate! Coyotes and foxes use dens to raise pups and kits in the spring, and where we find dens is a good indicator of what kinds of habitat are important for survival in urban environments. If you have seen young canids going in or out of a hole in the ground, hiding under a shed, or peeking out of a culvert, we want to know!
