Report Sightings

You can also get involved by reporting sightings of coyotes and foxes across the Twin Cities on our iNaturalist project page, or by filling out a Google form that sends the information straight to us.

This information helps us to locate new animals to collar across the Twin Cities, or if you have seen a collared individual it can help us to keep track of their condition if we have not seen them recently.

Report Den Locations

Two coyote pups play at the mouth of a den.

Dens are crucial for the survival of urban coyotes and foxes, but can be hard to locate! Coyotes and foxes use dens to raise pups and kits in the spring, and where we find dens is a good indicator of what kinds of habitat are important for survival in urban environments. If you have seen young canids going in or out of a hole in the ground, hiding under a shed, or peeking out of a culvert, fill out this form to let us know!
